Hiding Your Own Ads By Making Them Look Like Adsense?

Well, while reading a restaurant review, I noticed that NYC.com is making their own ads look like the adsense below them. Creative, or stupid… I wonder…
The ads all are pretty well integrated into the design, but I have to wonder about how “confusingly similar” things are there.
