Why not Kucinich?

From an e-mail I got from WNYC, the local NPR station…

Dennis Kucinich is the only 2008 Presidential candidate to announce a plan to end the war, bring troops home, and create an international peace force in Iraq. And now that the war isn’t popular, his anti-war agenda is. So why doesn’t the media take him seriously?

I’ll go conspiracy and claim that the beef industry is behind it, trying to deflect coverage from a vegan. It’s got nothing to do with Dennis being a crazy little elf.

The reason why Kucinich isn’t being covered much by the corporate media is that he takes positions that go against the interests of the people who own those media outlets and those who advertise on them.

Kucinich is the answer to the anti-war sentiment in this country. The people have had ENOUGH. His ideas for healthcare, bringing the troops home, labor, and all the other issues that affect Americans are spot on! You are not being fair when you insult him instead of reporting on what he says and does. Do your job. You are supposed to be an unbiased and FAIR media!

He has much to say: All of it solution oriented. Read more at http://kucinich.us/.

His ideas are irrelevant. The problem is the messenger.

He’s not taken seriously because of who he is.

That was what I was responding to.

As a libertarian, I’ve got problems with much of what he says, too, but I also know what it’s like to have people think you’re kooky.

    You, kooky? Never.
