We’re slated for a high of 97 degrees today. I think it’s perfectly justifiable in such horrid conditions for me to take an air-conditioned taxi home instead of waiting in the Amazon-like subway station to get on a crowded train, isn’t it? I hopped on the 1 train on the way in, but there hadn’t been a whole day of festering going on yet.

Apparently Naomi Campbell’s facing jail time for throwing her RIM Blackberry at her housekeeper. Depending on how the next few weeks go at work, I wonder what the penalty would be for throwing mine at my boss.

Well, according to Forbes, the conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh was caught again with illegal prescriptions, but this time it wasn’t for oxycontin. Rather than getting high, Rush needed a little blue pill to get it up.
Guess he should have known better than to try to get through Palm Beach International Airport with Viagra prescribed for another person. And to think… he did it for “privacy reasons”.

Yes, youtube is down again, but the maintenance was scheduled… for 9pm PDT, and for a few hours. Since I find that people searching for youtube being down end up on my blog, I just thought I’d let you all know it’s on purpose.

I expected my voyage to Texas to cause close encounters of the cowboy kind, but instead, there are huge roads and strip malls full of stores like (and no, I’m not making this shit up) Darque Tans and Princess Bride and Formal. Fuck, dude… what happened to Don’t Tread on Me?
